called Duette® honeycomb shades. There
are hundreds of beautiful color choices
in a variety of pleat sizes to complement
any decor. Fabrics that offer distinct
degrees of privacy and light shading,
from sheer for a room filled with
light, to opaque for complete light
control and privacy. The Originals

A
cellular shade is an improvement in
design and insulation value over its
sister, the pleated shade. The cellular
shade is comprised of at least two
layers of fabric that form a cell
or honeycomb. This design improves
the traditional pleated shade substantially.
The improvements are as follows:
- The cord is hidden inside the
shade. It is no longer visible like
a pleated shade.
- The pleat retention is enhanced
dramatically, therefore sagging
is not as evident.
- The cell design creates a barrier
of air between the room and the
window. This insulation blocks heat,
cold and noise. It is the best insulation
besides shutter.
- The fabrics are available in wider
widths, so seams are not necessary
to cover larger windows.
- Most cellular shades are made
from 100% polyester,which allows
the shade to be easily cleaned and
resists stains and fading.
- The edges of the shade do not
fray.
- There is a wide variety of pleat
sizes - 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1"
- The blackout material blocks
out more light because of the absence
of cord holes in the shade.
- White backing provides a uniform
appearance to the outside.
